Multiple 3D user interfaces are investigated to explore 3D scientific simulations, like the visualisation of complex flow fields.
Different possible user interfaces like a multitouch display and an accelerometer-based controller are tested as interaction devices.
Our research focus on the multitouch display is to find appropriate gestures for the manipulation of the 3d visualisation.
This is an interdisciplinary project in cooperation with the Institute of Aerodynamics.
